South Korean doctors prove U.S. Beef is safe

Some of South Korea’s leading doctors and businessmen enjoyed U.S. beef together Wednesday, showing the public they feel safe eating U.S. beef.
“There is no food whatsoever that we can say is 100 percent safe,” said Choo Soo-ho, head of the Korean Medical Association, South Korea’s largest doctors’ lobby. “But I can say the chance of catching mad cow disease (from eating U.S. beef) is nearly zero percent.”
The event stems from protests associated with U.S. beef being reintroduced to the market in South Korea. Read the AP article for more information.
