USDA’s continued predator control needed by ranchers

With the budget crunch, there have been some calls to get rid of USDA’s wild predator control program. While the need to cut spending is important, this isn’t the place to go. Cattle, sheep and goat producers lose $125 million each year because of predator wildlife. This number would be significantly higher without USDA’s help controlling livestock predators.
